The two epic antagonist roles of Tamil cinema. Think of Tamil cinema audience's perceptions before 15 years, they/we would have termed this as Villainism.

Antagonist and Villain, Are they different ? 

Well, to answer this I'll go ahead with Vikram Vedha dialogues.

Villains are always evil. The characters are sketched so as to express the negativity. 

Not all Antagonists are necessarily evil or true Villains. They are just driven away by some factors which had devastated them. Consequently their deeds have the negativism. Vedha is the biggest example for this.🔥

The villains are usually antagonists. 

Siddharth Abhimanyu of Thani oruvan is the antagonist and the classy villain as well.

This is how I understood the differences.

Aalavandhan, Dasavatharam, Naayagan, Aayudha Ezhuthu and Thalapathy are some of the other movies in which we can encounter Antagonists. As I've said before our perspectives were different. We all saw them as Villains. Yes, I agree that now we are able to find antagonists in the above movies. 

The three main writers/ directors who clearly defined us the meaning of Antagonists are Raja, Pushkar and Gayatri. None can deny the fact that Only after their brilliant execution of portraying characters with the concepts of perception made us to even think of what is Antagonism in a movie.

Director Ram

Inspiring and admiring more from director Ram. 

All of his speeches strikes the absolute Intersubjective reality intensely. His views about psychologies of men and women when it comes to relationship are veracious.

1.Women have widely improved in handling things. They know how to handle people, irrespective of gender.They don't want any lectures on this topic. It all starts right away from schooling. From bus stop to school premises, she handles various things. Being protective doesn't mean that men have to constantly decide her decisions. Let her handle the problem and if she is unable to find proper solution, she will definitely say. I don't think women in these days, i.e. from past two decades even speak about their problems, they have self-esteem and more maturity towards handling problems.

2. Pampering her is good but not with the view of child. She isn't expecting a guardian or Father figure. All that she wanted is a good companion. 

3. Man think that he owns his lady and he says he has rights on her. She isn't a property to be owned and you can't give her legal entitlements.

(Not generalizing total men society but Most of the men)

4. One of the complications in a relationship is Dominance. One cannot control the other. May be he/she can suggest ideas but it's up to the other one to decide whether to take up the idea or not. Having discussion is absolutely healthy but forcing definitely breaks the relationship

Sillu Karuppatti

Sillu Karuppatti, a gratifying tribute to all the people who enjoy, manifest and celebrate Love. An anthology film consisting of four different stories tied together by a single theme, Love.

The first and third story conveys about the purest form of innocent love. Vivid dialogues like "Inji Tea with added Dignity" and "Nerukamanavangaloda maranathulerundhu meeluradhe vaazhkaiya aagirudhula ?" are indeed noteworthy.

The second story is a matured and purest form of unconditional love. Scenes consisting traces of unconditional love from animals and birds are completely empiric and that's the moment when Mugilan and the audiences receive the true authentic form of unconditional love. The pragmatic approaches of Madhu are truly magical. The most favourite dialogues of this story are 

1."Idhellam kandipa oru payanaala ungaluku kuduka mudiyadhunga, ivlo unconditional..anniku neenga kooda sonneenga la..vaaipe illala,kedaikadhu, sirikaadheenga, I mean it ! Summa Kaakka pudikanum nu lam sollala, Kaakkake ungala pidikudhu" , 

2."Love is a state of mind", 

3."Andha make belief factor dhan love"

 and each time I see the Cone ice-cream, the theory of love said through ice-cream persistently runs in my mind. 

Fourth story, "Hey Ammu" is the fulfilling and the most appealing one. The portrayal of the expectations and thirst for candid love of a housewife dealing with household chores and three children is absolutely flawless. The slow phase of realisations of Dhanapal and Amudhini is quite unblemished and realistic. One other realisation from this story is Adulterated Romance is completely immaterial.

Santhosh Narayanan can be called as experimental music director. He never hesitates to come out of conventional music store. 

It was only Deva sir who had given us the raw Gaana. 

Aadi pona Aavani from Attakathi was indeed different and was big hit in the genre of Gaana after many years in Tamil Cinema. 

Loved his speech in one of the award functions. He confessed that Soodhu Kavvum Bgm was just a random experiment and never expected the award. "Summa fluke la vandhuchu, minimum efforts dhan pottom".

And that's when I started to notice more of him. 

Jigarthanda is my most favourite album. 

Madras, Kodi, Soodhu Kavvum, Vadachennai, Manithan, Gypsy and Cuckoo are other top notch albums. 

And ofc Rakita Rakita ! 💥💥

I must mention about the Maalai Nera Mallipoo song from A1 ! I randomly watched the trailer. The whole trailer consisted this song. It was tripping so bad that it became earworm and I wasn't able to come of it even in exam halls ! 😂❤️

The poet originally describes a girl called Vasanthavalli who is in love with Kutraala Eeshwarar, Lord Shiva of Kutraalam temple located in between the Kutraalam Falls and tropical deciduous forest situated in the Thirunelveli District. Basically these lines personifies girl's quality and beauty.❤️

This song in the movie is to describe the overwhelming emotion of meeting up each other after a long time.

ARR never fails to come up with magnificent and riveting songs filled up with musical richness❤️.

ARR has made music with lines from Tamil literature for three albums. The very first one is this one. The other songs are Bharathiyar's Suttum Vizhi for Kandukonden Kandukonden and Bharathidhasan's Avalum Naanum for Accham enbadhu Madamaiyada. 

This is based on the Raagam Kedaram. Vocals by three singers, Minmini , Kalyani Menon and Sunandha. (Minmini is very special and favourite singer of mine❤️) 

We all know that Mahakavi Bharathiyar had mentioned Raaga and other Carnatic details for all his poems. Similarly, many say that Kutraala Kuravanji has the detailing about the type of Raaga in which it should be composed. I tried my level best to get the facts but I only ended up with the mystery of Whether ARR had used the same Raaga.

However, the love for this song is boundless ! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I've been listening to this song in loop for the past three hours and that's why I'm unable to resist posting this !

Vennilave Vennilave- Minasara kanavu

Another most favourite song, Selected the three best spots of this song where Oceans of emotions transpire. 

Vennilave Vennilave from the movie Minsaara Kanavu. A pure aesthetic storyline by Rajiv Menon. Always his plans and ideas for the songs are different .They are deep and profound, be it Suttum Vizhi Sudar from Kandukonden Kandukonden or Vennilave Vennilave. 

This song consists of three main emotions. 

1.Confusion and inconvenience.

2.Pain and Struggle of being lost into someone.

3.Realisation of love and warmth towards each other.

A sheer brilliant choreography by Prabhu Master. Graceful dance steps with the conveyance of all the emotions mentioned above. Simple excellent steps convey the emotions more effectively. The expressions says about the tension and confusion inside as well as the calmness which is maintained outside. Kajol's eyes and her expressions, another strong epitome of this song. Deep, sharp and intense. ❤️

Composition by Rahman. Whatever I write here will be definitely very very less than what actually he is. This song does take a little time to grow on us, but once it does, it is impossible to hate this song. 

Vocals by Hariharan and Sadhana Sargam which adds more beauty and equally conveys emotions as that of the choreography. 💯❤️

Rajiv menon's dialogues though. Yet another manifestation of these emotions are the dialogues before the song sequence. Two such dialogues are 

1. அப்டி பாக்காத தேவா, எனக்கு எப்டியோ இருக்கு.

2.என்னமோ தெரியல நீ பக்கத்துல இருந்தா மனசு லேசா ஆகிடுது. 

I've more on my mind about this song. Definitely this one post isn't sufficient to express my love towards this song.

Sundari Neeyum - Michael Madhana Kamarajan

The first slow motion song of Tamil cinema. Technology has widely improved now and slow motion isn't a big deal. Back in those days, Picturising them were so much difficult.

About : Michael Madhana Kaama Rajan, a quadruplets movie. This song is a fantasy and dream sequences of Kameshwaran which explores his romantic side.

Cinematography and editing: 

Cinematography by BC.Gowri Shankar. Picturised with soft focus light more naturally. 

If they had shot this with normal speed and then if they had Slowed the motion, then the results would have been into some 0.5× speed.

They had shot this whole song with more speed, i.e some n×. So the actors and back dancers have acted and danced with great speed. Kudos to Kamal and Urvashi for the proper lipsync. Because they have acted and sung together with great speed like that of a rap ! Chances for oral contortion are high when the song is sung incredibly fast.

Raja recorded this song with the same speed as that of the composition. Sung by Kamal Hassan and Janaki, lyrics by Panchu Arunachalam. A gentle music which matches the graceful moves and scenes.

Sundharan neeyum Sundhari nyaanum - A slow-mo beauty ! ❤️

Thalapathy

This scene😍. Mani sir's movies always have more silence - sequences which brings out huge emotions, i.e, Silence applied over both dialogues and bgm.

Two most important scenes like that of Alaipayudhey climax and Kannathil Muthamittal pre climax says the importance of silence and emotions.

Here, the background score starts immediately after her confessions which proves that music can render emotion more perfectly. 💯

May be he could have done this scene with usual drama like that of hugging or with a smile symbolising the acceptance. 

Here, a ocean of emotions are conveyed together. We, audience too get into the protagonist's anxiety towards the question of 'What if it is no?'. Her tears are the testament to the sudden elation and exhilaration. It's really difficult to write that emotion of being lost in someone's world. Conveying the approval isn't easy though !

So with short dialogues, Mani sir have given us a masterpiece. And ofcourse the BGM, Raja as always 🔥❤️

Thalaivar and Shobana, such a fantabulous acting.

None can replace Thalaivar. In most of his movies, style speaks but here a true side of thalaivar was brought out.

Since Shobana mam is a dancer, her speciality is her expressions. Her recent release Vaarane Avashyamund says about her eternal love towards art of acting. 

A perfect scene with apt countenance stating about the perceptions of men and women towards entering a new relationship.❤️💯

It's always a fascination and wonder about the deep meanings in the dialogues and sharpness in the screenplays of his movies.

A layered story with moral basements. 

This movie is based on Youth politics and student leader George Reddy.

I was 12, when I watched Ayudha ezhuthu for the first time. I had no proper understanding about the movie. Only thing I understood was student politics. Again when I watched this at my age of 15, my observations were different. A better understanding about the movie was achieved. 

I'll share one of my observations from this movie.

There is a scene in which you can find the protagonist (Michael, played by Surya) and his friends been locked up in the jail. He starts to write the derivation in the lockup room and states about GUT, a physics term. 

Grand Unified Theory (GUT) is a model in particle physics in which, at high energies, the three gauge interactions of the Standard Model that define the electromagnetic, weak, and strong interactions, or forces, are merged into a single force.

How is this related with movie ?

Weak Force can be related with Arjun (Siddharth)

Strong Force can be related with Inba (Madhavan)

Electromagnetic Force can be related with Michael Vasanth (Surya). 

(Never learnt any physics term with this much interest, if I had done so then definitely I wouldn't have got less marks in exams😌)

Dialogues by Sujatha,He was an engineer by profession.

ManiRatnam and Sujatha were always ahead of time. They included scenes which is considered as mortification even today. Their way of scripting the antagonist role, Inba, complete brilliance ! 💯

lyrics by Na.Muthukumar. The Realities are conveyed through his simple words. Not one post is enough to describe his talents.

Saguni, a debutant feature film of Shankar Dayal. So many knots and twists.Many people say that this movie lacks in logics. Most of the scenes can be related to current happenings.

I don't know how TN audiences of that time even spoke about missing logics in the movie ! Sarcastic it is. May be now TN audiences have largely improved with the mindsets and the way they understand the storyline of a movie but before eight years, So many movies with no proper story were encouraged and celebrated. Funny, that movie with a storyline and so many knots and twists was underrated and widely criticised. I'm not going to say that this movie is better than Mudhalvan or pudhupettai, I too agree that this movie has mistakes but on a whole isn't it a good political satire accusing many of the incidents happening even today ?

Santhanam and Karthi Combo worked out a very good humour. The other artists have justified their roles. The movie hints us that Money and Muscle power are the main two requirements to win any kind of elections. isn't that true ?

I feel that this movie should have seen some more success. Saguni, the title is very well justified. A very good entertainer. Political Satire.

Naan Kadavul

Naan Kadavul, directed by Bala. It's always a challenge to write about his movies. This is a long time wish of mine, like that of previous post. 

'Naan Kadavul' fetched a National Award to Bala. The story line is very simple not much complicated but the complications in shooting the first 20 minutes of the movie is very huge. Arya's efforts are breathtaking. Such a dedication to play the character of 'Aghori' with authenticity. The another strong pillar of the movie is Pooja Umashankar. Perfectionism.🔥💯

Aghoris: The vamacharic ascetic shaiva Sadhus.

2. They Smear cremation ashes in their bodies

3. They have to attend tests like living in crematorium for several years with great difficulties to become aghori. It takes about 12 long years 

4. They don't fall sick as they always intake medicinal oil which is extracted from human bodies.

Definitely, this song gives a vibrant experience whenever we listen. And there is a most important thing to observe in this song. 

Throughout the song there is no temple bell sounds except that of one place which I've included above. To know the reason behind it, some of the hymns and their meanings have to be mentioned.

Oru Naalil - Pudhupettai

Oru Naalil from Pudhupettai. I had so much confusion in deciding about captioning about the plot. I initially thought I should start with storyline in order to express the emotion in this song. Later I ended up deciding one thing. Movies of directors like SelvaRaghavan, Ram and Bala shouldn't be discussed longer. Their movies should be experienced. They bring out all emotions and sometimes answers to millions of questions running inside. So decided not to talk about plot. Also I have the fear that I might not perfectly narrate the plot.

Pudhupettai has gained a cult status now but faced only failure at the time of release, many negative acclaims. Even SelvaRaghavan's recent release NGK wasn't celebrated much, may be after a decade, people may start giving some positive comments. Anyways, Pudhupettai is one of the SelvaRaghavan's masterworks. The most important thing is brilliance in Casting. He Extracted the Perfection from each and every artist.

His choice of music director and lyricist, best ! 

Composition : A rousing and riveting soundtracks of Yuvan🔥💯. Every song took him to another level. This composition is resembling Monalisa painting. Be it any kind of emotions, it gets reflected, for example, Listen with peace and you will find peace.Just plug in earphones and switch to Oru nalil song. You'll be feeling that your thoughts are getting reflected in this composition. Consequential damages are that this song keeps running in our mind even in exam halls and work places.Most relatable song, I would say. 

Na.Muthukumar can be called as 'யதார்த்தவாதி', pragmatic. His clear-sighted vision can be felt with his words. How much realistic his words are ?! No big literature words are used in his songs, he always wanted to make all the people to understand his words. Other thing that has to be observed in this song is that no line is repeated again. Rational and sensible song ever. 

Everyone of us have definitely listened to this song many times and if not kindly listen to it atleast once !

Rahman,the first music director to add more western technologies to the Indian music. Eventually, he never failed to celebrate our Indian instruments. He always does epic fusion of western and traditional music.

I also found many Nadaswaram interludes scored for the scenes. Yenge enadhu kavidhai, Enna solla pogirai from Kandukonden Kandukonden, Sangamam, Baba, chikku bukku raile from Gentleman, Vetrikodi kattu from Padayyapa ,These song notes were played in nadaswaram inbetween the scenes. Initially I decided to add up them but due to the long time duration I didn't add them. This was planned in the month of April but I wasn't able to make a video. 

Plug the earphones and experience the intrigue❤.

Nadaswaram is the loudest non-brass acoustic instrument. Many of us know that it is considered as an auspicious instrument, particularly in South India.Nadaswaram and Thavil were mostly used in only scoring traditional and devotional songs of Tamil Movies.

Rahman mixed up new idealogies. He uses them in all kind of situations, in all genres like traditional, folk,celebration,pain and Love. More than any other songs, these songs brings us goosebumps and kinda native feeling ❤. 

Some of the songs may sound very digital but they are actually Nadaswaram. ARR took the efforts to record them more sharper. Accuracy level 💯🔥. 

No wonder he is called as "Mozart of Madras" and "ISAI PUYAL"❤

1. Sowkiyamma Kanne song is based on the raaga 'Maand'. The origin of this Raaga is not yet clarified. Some of them say it is from Hindusthani and some say it is from Carnatic. It is mostly used to convey the feeling of 'Missing'

2. Minsaara Poove song is based on the raaga Vasantha. The festive and vibrant Raaga. The konnakol and Sangadhi portion together at the last, Whoa ! Breathtaking !💯🔥

3. Kannodu Kanbathellam song of based on the raaga Abheri with the influence of Shudhdha Dhanyasi.

ARR and Nithyasree Combination:

ARR knows more about Hindhustani music and Nithyasree is famous for Carnatic rendition. This collaboration, a perfect example for Traditional Indian Music. A fusion of Hindhusthani, Carnatic and western.

Nithyasree mam, my most favourite Carnatic singer. Grand daughter and disciple of D.K.Pattamal who is one among the female Carnatic Trinity. 

It's always an excitement to listen her collaborated songs with ARR. 

Such a magnetic voice which never fails to attract all kind of music lovers.

ARR brought out her complete potential. Though she have done so many Carnatic stage programs, these songs have took her to another level. He never failed to extract her complete talent. Swaram, Sangadhi, Jathi, Konakkol and what not ?!

Unakaaga Thaane indha - Katradhu Thamizh

Listen to Yuvan's Voice and you can feel some pain and pleasure, completely two opposite feelings isn't it ? And that's Yuvan's Magic. No extra captions required to describe Na.Muthukumar's words, they always give us the immense feeling of being lost in some other world.

I strongly suggest to watch the movie.

I definitely can't describe and discuss the details of the movie within one post or certain number of words. Even after watching for about 5 to 6 times, certain scenes brings tears each time.

This movie is an emotion. A pure psychological association with inner self.

House Owner by Lakshmy Ramakrishnan After watching Arohanam, I knew that she is best in developing intense stories but this time I was surprised with the young romantic portions. Absolutely compelling. Throughout the film it rains.The efforts behind the making of this movie are very big.Huge respect for Lakshmy mam.The water used for artificial raining and flood were futher used for the irrigation.I'm not her very big fan before.After watching house owner, she became my favourite director ❤

The story is about the man who undergoes Alzheimer and the unconditional Love shown by his wife.The way she takes care and the way she tolerates make us to know about the meaning of 'Unconditional Love'. RadhaVasudev❤.

All that he have in his memory is the period during his age of 25, he is unable to recognise aged Radha and sometimes his own daughter. Pathetic.The efforts and tolerance of his wife shows how much he loved her back in those days. I was emotional and was not coming out of movie for very long time. Perfect couple,

The young age Radha and Vasudev are so adorable and romantic as hell.The above video says it all. How much exotic it is?I guess half the scenes are the incidents that happened in Lakshmy mam's life. To write something romantic,there must be more younger thoughts.

Kishore and Lovelyn such a smoking chemistry between them. Yes there is a mistake which slightly makes us feel odd, the dubbing.The proper palakkad Brahmin slang is missing but it is all balanced with the performance. 

Few of my favourite scenes are compiled together.

And my most favourite scene is when he goes and consoles her while leaving from her house. The way he pampers her is really relatable.Yes woman needs a man who hugs her and listens to her as tears roll down. I loved that portion very much.

Encourage her,Motivate her. Be it career or her hobbies and passions.❤

This scene is exact replica of one incident happened in my parents life, My mom is from village, She had never visited any cafe.So dad decided to take her to CCD,Bangalore.She was not knowing how to drink it, as she was always habituated drinking in steel Tumblers.He taught her everything.She was shocked after seeing the bill amount, 300 ,It was a very big deal for my dad to convince her! Dad repeatedly says this whenever we visit hotels.😅❤

The above scenes shows how much vasudev loves Radha.And when it suddenly lightens he forgets everything,the present too. He was not knowing what was he doing before. Suddenly he drops her hand and pushes the dough on her.Very painful.We can't blame vasudev though. However Radha manges to make things go smooth.

She does things he loves, to keep him distracted from other things. One of them is playing carrom.

Then,during their young age Radha was not that much practised towards city culture but now, she keeps herself updating accordingly to the new generation. Her dressing, the gadgets she handles says it all. .

After reading #ParthibanKanavu by Kalki, I was completely fascinated by the hardwork behind making of the movie AayirathilOruvan.The efforts taken by SelvaRaagavan Sir are breathtaking ! I literally saw the two Characters belonging to ParthibanKanavu,Chola King and Sivan Adiyaar on the screen ! 

Parthiban Sir and Karthi sir- Most apt choice for these roles ❤. Don't know about the BgmS whether it is by Yuvan Sir or GVP sir but they are absolutely killing and perfect to the core !

#justified.

People were not ready to appreciate this masterpiece during the release, infact they showcased this movie as if this movie was a great mortification for Tamil Cinema.Now people are demanding for part 2 ! I'm happy that atleast now Tamil Cinema viewers have got some enlightenment and appreciate even small budget movies.

One conversation in the end of First part of ParthibanKanavu reminds us the climax of AayirathilOruvan.

The battle between cholas and pallavas end,Pallavas win the battle.

Science Vs Spirituality:

The movie starts with the discussion about Chaos theory and Butterfly effect. Even today most of them don't know the reason behind going back to 12th century.In simple words, Chaos theory is a explanation about the interconnections between incidents.Tsunami is due to earthquakes and earthquake is because of the movements of tectonic plates.In this movie,this happens because of the drowning of heavy weighing Vishnu's statue. 

He had also included about the Karma and it's consequences.

Aandavar for a reason❤

Criticism : Many people blame Kamal Haasan sir for including scenes of the so called "his caste". People have to realise that he believes more in atheism and communism. If you are conscious of noticing caste and religions, kindly notice the other scenes too. You can find scenes and references based on other religions like Sikhism, Buddhism, Christianity and Islam. Even kings of that age had decided to establish "ShankaraNarayana" idol for the smooth communication between vaishnavites and saivists. We live in an era of social equality. We must know some basic manners. Stop blaming and appreciate the brilliance

Oliyile Therivadhu' from Azhagi.

Penned down by one of the prominent lyricists,Pazhani Bharathi.Directed by Thangaraj.His notable works are Azhagi,Solla Marandha Kadhai and Pallikkoodam.All of his screenplays have tropical touch.Most of his movies' scenes were shot in rural areas.One of very few directors who doesn't do commercial movies.His scripts are always based on the common man's story,mostly about middle class family, the struggles we go through, the pain we face, the disappointments and many more emotions without cinematic drama. One of my favourite directors.

More about Azhagi.I'm unable to resist myself from writing more about Azhagi.Parthiban Sir's voice over, the most compassionate narration ever.I'll recollect the past scenes,to describe the emotion about the one scene, which shattered me.

Shanmugam,the protagonist,during his teenage falls in love with his childhood friend,his classmate and the most richest girl of his village,Dhanalakshmi.She is been described as the most beautiful girl of their village,many boys fell for her beauty.After completing his higher studies he returns to village.He shatters after learning about Dhanalakshmi's state.He learns about the past,that her properties were abducted by her relatives and she is now married to her brother in law(second wife).Shanmugam gets married to another girl,Valarmathi.After getting to know that Dhanalakshmi is in poverty, Shanmugam decides to get her husband a job. Shanmugam gets transfer order and shifts to Chennai.

After 3 years,he encounters a accident, he finds a small little boy screaming, Balu - Dhanalakshmi's Son.They are now in the construction site working as a daily wage servant.Her husband had died in an accident.To deal with the poverty they have come all the way from village to city.

Shanmugam sits down in a small stool and He listens to whatever happened.He breaks after seeing her State.Shamugam cries and asks why she didn't meet him and ask for help.As all women say,she too says that she never wanted to disturb him.

Now it rains, she covers him with the small cardboard.They face each other, they recollect their past. 

The then and now scenario - It rained in their village,Shanmugam was completely drenched in rain,he didn't even had a small cloth to cover his head,she gave away her towel to him.Now here she is not able to do anything,she doesn't have even a small cloth.Complete contrast.

There starts "Un Kuthama En kuthama"with Raja sir's voice.

Parthiban Sir - Finest quality of acting ❤

Two youngsters fall in love with each other.They fail to continue their relationship.As time passes by they travel in two different paths.Protagonist marries another girl, gets settled in life.Time heals.Later after many years,the fate decides to play a game,he finds his teenage love again.The fate has made her as a servant maid to his home ! She is too married but a widowed mother to her son.Situation is that enthralling.It may lead them to continue their relationship.A proscribed love in the society! Who can control themselves in this kind of situation?! But the director's point is not about the outlawed love but all about the warmth he wants to provide for her.He conveys that protagonist is a well-wisher for her.Can you even imagine the replacement of Parthiban sir and Nanditha Mam? Complete justification for the characters.❤💯 Parthiban sir,finest actor.❤ நாம் அறியா வயதில் காதல் எனும் மாய வளையில் விழுகின்றோம். பின் நாளில் அவர்களைக் காலம் நம்மிடமிருந்துப் பிரிக்கின்றது. காலம் காட்டிய வழி என்று அதை ஏற்று நாமும் வாழ்கையைத் தொடர்கின்றோம். அவர்களை நாம் வெறுத்தாலும் அவர்கள் மேல் நாம் வைத்தப் பாசத்தை மறப்போமா? அவர்களின் வீழ்ச்சியை நாம்மால் தாங்கிக்கொள்ள முடியுமா? Though we become strangers and hate each other,we always wish their goodness.

Ilayaraja Musical - After many long years, with same upswing! This song is sung by Karthik sir and BhavaThaarani Mam.We all know about Yuvan Shankar Raja.What about the other two?Karthik Raja and BhavaTharini? Most underrated artists ever!

This particular line is my personal favourite. 

Kannadhasan,most important find of Tamil cinema. Conveyed the emotions of the hero with his words more properly and perfectly. Pure Magic ❤

Director BaluMahendra Sir is paragon.Created many benchmark histories in Tamil cinema. There are some love stories in societies which are proscribed and outlawed.He created magics with those kind of love stories.Examples - Rettai Vaal kuruvi,Marubadiyum and Moondraam Pirai.

In this movie the situation is profound.

A girl (Sridevi) who is affected by loss of memories and is mentally unstable (Seems to be harsh but to make the description more stronger and apt this has to be used)she falls a prey to evil events of the society.She is been rescued by hero(Kamal) and futher she is given place to live in his home.

He eventually falls for her.This kind of love is delicate and intense. Manifested it very neatly with decent scenes.

In this song there is a blend of modern instruments like electric guitar and basses and traditional instruments like tabla and flute. Masterpiece💯 

No wonder that he is called by many names like Mastero, Isaignani, Raagadhevan and Music god.

Malai Kovil Vaasalil - Veera

Malai Kovil Vaasalil from Veera.

Directed by Suresh Krishna who futher directed Bhaasha and Aaha. Thalaivar and Meena combo always Rocks. Such a beautiful chemistry between them.Suresh Krishna,such a capricious director. A very important Director who changed Thalaivar's path. Veera and Bhaasha were very big commercial hits.

The song sets are not too fancy. They travel with the same feel as that of whatever happens in the movie. Though Meena plays a role of Iyer, the sets have conch and chakra which are symbols of vaishnavite. Like many more diversities and casteism,till date the clash between Iyers and Iyengars are continuing.I just wanted to take time to Appreciate that !

In this movie, the hero plays a role of singer. Vaali sir is true genius. He brought out some words relating the situation. Such as "நான் படிக்கும் தமிழ் கீர்த்தனங்கள், இங்கு நாள் தோறும் உந்தன் சீர் பாடும்!". No more explanation required to say about Vaali sir's words.

Coming to song composition, Raja sir has scored the music that completely matches the emotions.The situation is intense, Oceans of emotions have been executed. Hero asks Heroine to light a small lamp in front of the temple as a symbol of approval of his proposal. He comes to temple with the hope that she would have lit the lamp but he doesn't finds any lamp.(painful and disappointing) He decides to leave but then he finds thousand lamps lit. She arranged them in the spelling of his name ! (Happiness and cloud nine feel) Immediately Raja sir's percussion starts.His Beats are symbolising his extreme exhilaration. The beats travel throughout the songs, expressing the happiness towards overwhelming response from the heroine. Swarnalatha mam and Mano sir have added extra delight to the music lovers. ❤

Pani vizhum Iravu form Mouna raagam.I've listened to this song for about fifty times and more. Each and every time I'm getting to know many things,be it composition or picturization.

First of all,before starting the description I wanted to share the information that I've got to know-Vaali sir had a association with Tamil cinema for about Five long decades.His fans are still wondering that how he is able to satisfy all kind of generations.He still retains the impressions of the youth and his talent remains as a monument of his reverence.

Still fresh,Still exotic ❤

Raja sir and Maniratnam sir - True magical combo !

One scene worth recalling is when Mohan covers Revathy with his shawl seeing her countenance upon freezing and you can eventually hear a chorus violin interludes which matches the emotion of Revathy.Whether it is as per planned picturization or vice versa,this music is scored to match the emotion. Of course the root of the song lies in the voice of SPB sir and Janaki amma as always.

Smoking hot chemistry between the lead dancers. Choreography - John Babu master.You can also find PrabhuDeva master in a very small role, A boy playing flute. The back dancers, perfectly executed steps accordingly to the percussion.

When everyone else is talking more about other songs of this movie, I thought I should take some time to caption something more about this song. I think this song is more stronger element of this movie❤.

A modern makeover of Carnatic music.This song has been inspired from traditional marriage song called "Kanoonjal Aadi Irundhaal". Only a very small portion of this song has been used in this song. I always love fusions and this song particularly has been a elixir at times whenever I feel I'm enervated.

An absolute brilliance with traditional touch, I must confess.

The choice of using this song is more appropriate as the visuals of the song demand it. The song starts with the marriage of the protagonist and it is then carried with 

the scenes between newly married couple.Only few actors make us feel that we are into the film,We all know that Bharath is one among them.

Also I've put up a seperate post expressing my views upon Thamarai Mam's words. 

I know that this is late,but atleast now I've got an opportunity to express my thoughts about this song.

I always wanted a general platform to express my views upon songs and lyrics that I hear so that people would atleast notice.
